Hear the ticking clock?

Long or short, slow or quick,

It’s going by.

Going? Can you see it fly?

Is it long or short?

Days, months or years,

Everything that happens,

Happened in time.

Time is second,

A minute is it.

Longer an hour or day.

It won’t stop or go round fast.

Slow that’s it for those who wait.

Swift shall it be in fear.

Long is it when in grief.

Short when rejoicing.

Found a lost pen, for a time there is none.

So never leave till tomorrow,

That which you can do today.

Time will fly.
